SCREEN PRINTING
Best for: Larger volumes with simple motifs (up to 6 colors).
Advantages: Long shelf life, cost-effective for larger orders.
Used for: T-shirts, hoodies, tote bags.
How it works: Each color is applied separately with stencils. Best suited for printing on cotton garments and other natural materials.
DTG
Best for: Smaller series with photorealistic motifs.
Advantages: Unlimited number of colors, no initial cost.
Used for: T-shirts, hoodies, cotton textiles.
How it works: The design is printed directly on the garment with ink for a soft and comfortable result. Ideal for detailed motifs and fast deliveries.
TRANSFER PRESSURE
Best for: Smaller orders and printing on synthetic materials.
Advantages: Sharp colors, durable even on difficult surfaces.
Used for: Sportswear, workwear, bags.
Here's how it works: The design is first printed on a transfer paper which is then heated onto the garment with high precision.
EMBROIDERY
Best for: Exclusive garments and long-lasting products.
Advantages: Elegant and durable, withstands hard use.
Used for: Jackets, caps, bags, towels.
How it works: The design is sewn directly onto the garment with yarn for a high-quality and professional finish. Embroidery is best for logos and text.
Which printing method is right for you?
The choice of printing method depends on several factors such as the details of the design, the material of the garment, the area of use and the size of your order. Here are some things to consider:
- Design Details: Do you have a photo-realistic motif with many colors? Then digital printing (DTG) is best. For simpler logos with few colors, screen printing is more cost-effective.
- The material of the garment: For cotton garments, we recommend screen printing or DTG. For synthetic materials and sportswear, transfer printing is the best choice. Embroidery is ideal for heavier fabrics such as jackets, caps and bags.
- Quantity and Budget: Larger orders are often cheaper per garment with screen printing, while DTG is perfect for small runs with no start-up costs. Embroidery gives a luxurious feel and lasts a long time but has a higher initial cost.
- Area of use: Do you need hard-wearing work clothes, exclusive profile products or stylish garments for an event? We help you choose the right printing method for long-lasting results.
